October 30, 1923 ~ February 8, 2017 (age 93) 93 Years Old


Youngstown – Angeline J. (DeCenzo) Wilson, 93, of Youngstown, passed away Wednesday evening February 8, 2017 with her loving family by her side.

Angeline will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends for her fun-loving personality.

She was born October 30, 1923 in Youngstown, the daughter of Dominic and Mary (Silvestri) DeCenzo who immigrated to the United States from the Abruzzo region of Italy.

Angeline was a graduate of the January 1943 class of The Rayen High School. She was employed as a sales clerk for McKelvey’s Department Store which then became Higbee’s Department Store and retired from Ames Department Store in the late 1980’s.

Angeline loved babies, animals and going dancing. She also enjoyed going on day trips and to festivals, along with spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Angeline leaves to hold onto her precious memories her three children Patricia (Anthony) Joseph of Austintown, Cynthia (Bill) Fedor and Bill (Roslyn) Wilson both of Youngstown and two grandchildren Kenneth Wilson of Glen Burnie, Maryland and Brett Wilson of Youngstown along with many nieces and nephews and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers Cory and Sandy (DeCenzo) DeChance and two sisters Dorothea Carinci and Rose Kusic.

Per Angeline’s request there will be no calling hours or services held and a caring cremation will take place.

Burial will take place at Brunstetter Cemetery, Austintown.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman (new location).

In lieu of flowers and to honor Angline’s life, the family requests material donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501, St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105 

Angeline’s family wants to express their sincere thanks to the entire staff of Hospice of the Valley for their love and dedication throughout this difficult time.
