Ron touched many, many more people than you can imagine. I knew him through the Mahoning County Mental Health Board and enjoyed every minute I spent with him. Years ago, he recommended John Q's in Cleveland as a restaurant I should try and he ALWAYS asked me about how I liked it. His ability to remember special little things about everyone he met was remarkable and made each of us feel very special. I loved him and am blessed to have known him. There aren't many "Rons" in our world today and we all lost a bright spot.

I am grateful for the opportunity to have served with Ron as a public official in Mahoning county. Ron's leadership in our efforts to eliminate child lead poisoning benefited many thousands of children in the community. My condolences to Ron's family.
