Boardman – Kyle A. Pakalnis – 31, of Boardman, passed away on Thursday evening, March 21, 2024, at Mercy Health Boardman Campus.
Kyle will always be remembered by his family and friends for his easygoing personality, sense of humor, kindness, and generosity. In the greatest form of generosity Kyle could offer, he gave others a second chance by being an organ donor. His family is extremely grateful to the entire team with Lifebanc for all the guidance and support throughout this process.
He was born October 24, 1992, in Youngstown, the son of John and Clancy (Werden) Pakalnis and was a lifelong area resident.
Kyle was a 2011 graduate of Canfield High School and attended New Castle Schools of Trades where he earned his welding certificate. He was also a member of ST. Christine Church.
He worked for Vanguard Die & Machine Inc and then with International Steel & Counterweights for the last three years as a CNC programmer and machinist.
Kyle had many passions throughout his life. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing the drums and listening to music. Kyle also enjoyed riding dirt bikes and was a certified scuba diver.
Kyle leaves behind to hold his memories his mother Clancy Hapcic, his father John (Missy) Pakalnis, two sisters Jayme (Branden Keylor) Pakalnis and Nicole (Brayden Lariscy) Pakalnis, a stepsister Jonica Hapcic, maternal grandfather Albert (Cheryl Thompson) Werden III, his girlfriend Crystal Fox, his two uncles Bo (Debbie) Werden and Oop (Sara) Werden and aunt Joanie (George) Turner along with many cousins, and friends.
Kyle was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Jay (Sally) Pakalnis, his maternal grandmother Margaret Werden and his stepfather Junior Hapcic.
Family and friends may pay their respects too Kyle on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman.
Kyle’s family would like to thank the entire staff of Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Boardman Campus and especially the ICU Unit for all the care and compassion shown to Kyle and to them throughout this difficult time.
