Carol A. (Keck) Neidlinger

Youngstown – Carol A. Neidlinger, 75, of Youngstown, passed away peacefully at Hospice House on Friday morning, September 29, 2017. 

She was born November 26, 1941, daughter of Joseph and Mary Ellen (Manchester) Keck and was a lifelong area resident.

Carol graduated from Columbiana High School and then earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English from Heidelberg University.

Carol was an avid reader, and was always ready to recommend a good book.  She loved knitting gorgeous sweaters, socks, and scarves for her loved ones.  Most of all, she enjoyed quilting.  She poured her love into thousands of perfectly spaced tiny stitches over the years.  Her magnificent hand-stitched quilts will be cherished by her family and friends.

She leaves behind her husband, Paul Neidlinger whom she married November 18, 1966, two sons David Neidlinger of London Ohio and Rob (Lori) Neidlinger of Peachtree City, Georgia, a daughter Beth Ricci of Denver, Co; her grandchildren Ashley, Lauren (Kevin), Angela, Marissa, Noah and Jarod, her brother Eric (Margie) Keck of Albuquerque and her furry companion Max.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Per Carol’s request there will be no calling hours or services and a caring cremation has taken place.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman.

Memorial contributions may be made in Carol’s name to Hospice House, 9803 Sharrott Rd., Poland, Ohio 44514.
