North Lima – There will be a Funeral Mass held on Friday November 2, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. Jude Roman Catholic Church, Columbiana, officiated by Father Christopher Cicero, for Eleanor (Janeczko) Kuzak, 98, of North Lima, who passed away peacefully early Monday, October 29, 2018.
Eleanor will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends for her kindness, generosity and sense of humor. She was known as “The Joke Lady” because of her witty way of telling jokes.
She was born October 21, 1920 in Youngstown, the daughter of Frank and Paranka (Dyskant) Janeczko and was a lifelong area resident.
Besides being a proud homemaker, Eleanor was employed as an inspector at Packard Electric Company for over 15 years.
She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.
Eleanor had many passions throughout her life. She enjoyed crocheting, spending time with her family and was an excellent golfer.
Her husband Andrew Kuzak whom she married in 1938 died in 1991.
Eleanor leaves to cherish his precious memories a daughter Andrea Chianello of North Lima, seven grandchildren Paulette, Gregory, Monique, and Mark Cutujian, Andrew and Michael Hazenstab, and Randy (Lindsey) Chianello, six great grandchildren Oliva Leskey, Katlynn and Kathy Deitz, Patrick Cutujian and Nolan and Corbin Chianello and a very special niece Elaine Green.
Besides her parents and husband, Eleanor was preceded in death by three grandchildren Carl Hazenstab, Ellie Hazenstab and Elise Chianello-Leskey, two daughters Barbara Cutujian and Eleanor Hazenstab, a son-in-law Frank “Cheech” Chianello, two sistesr Julie Mortenson and Stella Velichko and a brother Joseph Janeczko.
Arrangements were entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman.
Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Youngstown.
Eleanor’s family would like to express their sincere appreciation and thanks to special friends Logan and Steffie.
