Elizabeth Marie (Fiucci) Febo

Youngstown - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial to be held Friday, April13, 2018, at 1:00 pm at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Basilica, 343 Via Mt. Carmel, Youngstown, with Very Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Cariglio Jr. officiating, for Elizabeth Marie Febo, 89, of Youngstown, who passed away Saturday morning, April 7, 2018.

Elizabeth was born May 16, 1928 in Youngstown, the daughter of Nicholas and Lena (Cipriano) Fiucci and was a lifelong area resident.

Elizbeth was a graduate of South High School and a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica.

Elizabeth had worked several jobs throughout her life.  Whether it was a manager at Islay’s, an employee in the meat department at Sparkle Market, or on the maintenance staff at Northside Hospital, she was always known for her hard work ethic.

Elizabeth had many passions. She enjoyed travelling to casinos, spending her summers at Geneva on the Lake, as well as crafting and crocheting. She was also an animal lover especially when it came to her beloved dogs.

Most of all Elizabeth was a proud homemaker and treasured spending time with family.  Her nieces and nephews loved her dearly and will truly miss their “Aunt Liz”.  

Her husband Philip “Lou” Febo whom she married September 9, 1950 died October 12, 1996.

Elizabeth leaves behind two sisters Dolores Rosile of Hubbard and Joyce Jaminet of Youngstown, along with many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.  

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents and husband, a brother Camillo Fiucci and two sisters Antonette DiTata and Jean DiCioccio.

Entombment will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens, Canfield.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman (new location).
