I was sadden to read of my childhood friend and neighbor's death. I remember when your family moved directly across the street from me on Hamilton Avenue, playing with Emma in my house and her house, walking to St. Adalbert's school and Farrell Junior and Senior High. Emma was a quiet and reserved girl. I know I and my friends always tried to protect her from some cruelties thrown her way. I will always remember her and her quiet ways. My condolences to your family.
