Kerry Denise Gorman Yoder

Youngstown – There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Angela Merici Parish-Sacred Heart Church, with Father Kevin Peters officiating, preceded by a 9:15 am prayer service held at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman, for Kerry Denise Gorman Yoder, 46, of Austintown, who passed away peacefully Monday afternoon, June 25, 2018 with her entire loving family by her side after a courageous 38-year battle with diabetes

Kerry will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends for her sense of humor, her quick wit, her generosity and kindness.

She was born December 19, 1971 in Youngstown, the daughter of Joseph P. and Denise (Fitzgerald) Gorman and was a lifelong area resident.

Kerry graduated from St. Brendan Elementary School and was a 1990 graduate of Ursuline High School. She then continued her education at Youngstown State University.

Kerry began her career in the work force in retail sales, followed by selling Medicare Advantage and supplemental insurance. She later then became an Auditor for Valued Services of America and was a branch manager for Regency Finance in Warren.

Kerry had many passions throughout her lifetime. She enjoyed shopping, listening to music and spending time with her family. Her family was extremely important in her life and she had a special bond with all her nieces and nephews. Kerry and her sister even had their own theme song for when they were at lunch. Kerry also had a passion for animals, especially she loved dogs and would help any animals in distress.

She leaves behind to hold onto her precious memories her parents Joseph and Denise Gorman of Austintown, a brother Joseph Gorman of Cortland, two sisters Lisa (William) Tisone of Hudson and Maureen (Scott) Stenglein of Austintown, her seven nieces and nephews, Rachel, Stephen and Elizabeth Gorman, Valerie and Nick Tisone and Shannon and Brendan Stenglein along with her beloved dogs Koda and Quimby.

Kerry was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Joseph and Anna Marie Gorman, her maternal grandparents Denny and Maggie Fitzgerald and a niece Alexis Gorman.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, June 28, 2018, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St. Boardman (new location).
