Sadie (Essad) Harika, 76 of Light House Point, Florida, God took her hand on May 23, 2019, so that she would suffer no more and be granted eternal light with him.
She was born in Youngstown, the daughter of Carroll J. and Josephine K. (Hanna) Essad.
Sadie was a graduate of South High School and continued her education at Youngstown State University earning an associate degree in Accounting.
Sadie was employed for many years at the Cafaro Co. until she married Joseph Harika in January 1976. Together they traveled throughout the world and she especially loved her many cruise’s.
Her charities were many including St Jude’s Children Hospital and Our Lady of Lebanon Shrine. She also helped feed the poor especially after the many hurricanes she experienced.
Sadie leaves her loving sisters Carol A. Essad & Jane A. (Essad) Vigorito both of Boardman, Ohio and her younger brother Lawrence M. Essad. Sadie will be loved & remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, and her god son. Most of all she will always be loved by her oldest and dearest friends John Carlucci, and Bob Zuzak who were with her until the end.
She was proceeded in death by her parents and her brother Robert M. Essad.
There will be a memorial service held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at the 4:30 mass at St Maron Parish, 1555 S. Meridian Rd., Youngstown.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman.
