Obituary

ADELE MARGARET CONTI, 94 BOARDMAN-There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Youngstown celebrated by Fr. Greg Maturi for Adele Conti who passed away Thursday afternoon at Greenbrier Commons. She was born May 30, 1917 in Youngstown, a daughter of Alexander and Emma DeSimone Carlini and has been a lifelong area resident. She graduated with the Class of 1934 from the Rayen School. Adele was a homemaker and a lifelong member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. She was a member of the Mother of Crucifix Society, St. Monica's Guild and Legion of Mary. Adele was an avid golfer and participated in several golf and bowling leagues. Her husband Dominic Conti, whom she married November 4th 1943 died March 23, 1996. She will be sadly missed by her son, Louis (Jane) Conti of Canfield; two grandsons, Christopher (Suzanne) Conti of Chagrin Falls and Timothy (Amy) Conti of Hudson; six great-grandchildren, Samantha, Dominic, Mia, Andrew, Ashley and Emma. Besides her parents and husband, Adele was preceded in death by her three sisters, Sylvia Pesa, Rena Porter, Regina DeBucci; and two brothers, Michael and Anthony Carlini. Calling Hours will from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church one hour prior to the service. In Lieu of flowers the family requests any monetary donations be made in Adele's Memory to Hospice of the Valley, 9803 Sharrott Rd. Poland,OH 44514.
