Youngstown - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Monday, November 26, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Christine Church with Father Gary George, C.Ss.R. officiating, preceded by a 9:15 a.m. prayer service held at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, for Adolph "Al" Frazzini Jr., 71, of Youngstown, who passed away Wednesday morning, November 21, at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center in Boardman, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Al will always be remembered and loved by his family and friends for his big smile and outgoing personality. He was born July 11, 1941 in Youngstown, the son of Adolph Sr. and Anne (Ward) Frazzini and was a lifelong area resident. Al was a 1959 graduate of Ursuline High School and was a member of St. Christine Church, the National Association of Letter Carriers, and The Greater Youngstown Italian Fest committee. He was employed for over 41 years as a Letter Carrier with the United States Postal Service and retired in 2003. Al served his country in the United States Marine Corp and earned the rank of Private First Class along with being awarded the Good Conduct Medal. He was injured during a training exercise that made him a disabled veteran. Al enjoyed storytelling, socializing with his friends and he especially loved spending time with his family. Gardening was a hobby in which he took great pride. His favorite vacation destination was Disney World where he could be a kid again and get lost in the magic. He leaves behind to hold on to his precious memories his beloved wife, the former Jean Smith, whom he married on April 16, 1994, six children Janine (Bobby) Nelms of Texas, Stephen (Jume) Frazzini of Washington, David (Peggy) Koch of Boardman, Lisa (George) Beshara of Canfield, Beverly James of North Canton and Anna Frazzini of Hubbard and thirteen grandchildren Faith, Conner, Mintra, Brad, Lesley, Brent, Kamlie, Elly, Matthew, Madison, Mia, Jared, and Sophia. Besides his parents, Al was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Koch. Friends may call on Sunday, November 25, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman where a prayer service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Austintown, with full military honors provided by the great men of the Trumbull County American Legion.
