Boardman - Angelo Dominick "AJ" Martino Jr., 32, of Boardman, who passed away Wednesday morning, August 1, 2012. AJ will always be remembered and loved with his family and friends for his big smile, kind heart, kind soul and his wonderful personality. He was born April 23, 1980 in Warren, Ohio, the son of Angelo Sr. and Dee (Scott) Martino and was a lifelong area resident. AJ was a 1998 graduate of Maplewood High School where he played soccer along with being accepted into the Tech Prep Program at the Trumbull County Branch of Kent State University, during Angelo's last two years of high-school. AJ was certified in food safety where he traveled throughout the country for over six years and was currently employed by Healthier Environments Inc., as a Regional Sales Manager AJ was involved as an assistant little league baseball coach with his brother for many years and was a former member of Mecca Community Church. AJ enjoyed boating, jet skiing, and fishing, but mostly he was a people person and loved children, animals, and spending time with his family. He leaves to hold on to his memories his parents Angelo Sr. (Dee) Martino of Boardman, a brother David (Calli) Martino of Boardman, two nieces Isabella and Sophia, paternal grandmother Ginny Martino of Florida, a Uncle Dick (Nancy) Scott of Florida, four aunts Jackie Martino, Debbie (Eric) Lynn, Barb (Phil) Houbler all of Florida and Jolynn Solaman of Ohio, along with numerous cousins and friends. AJ was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Dominick Martino, maternal grandfather Harvey Scott, and two uncles Gordie Martino and David Scott. Friends may call on Monday, August 6, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
