Boardman - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke Church, Boardman with Father Nicholas Shori officiating preceded by a 10:20 a.m. prayer service held at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman for Anna Santucci, 89, of Boardman, who passed away on Saturday morning, June 18, 2011. Anna "Auntie" will always be remembered and cherished by her family and friends. In addition to being a loving and devoted homemaker, Anna enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, & spending quality time with her family and friends. She was a phenomenal cook and the epitome of hospitality! "Auntie" will forever be remembered for her warm hugs, beautiful smile, deep faith, and quick wit! She was born April 4, 1922 in Bagnoli del Trigno, Isernia, Italy, and moved to Detroit Michigan in 1936, and then to the Youngstown area. She was the daughter of Pietro and Vincenza Rossi. Anna was a member of St. Luke Church and the Ladies Bagnolese Club. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Carl Santucci whom she married January 24, 1942 died July 5, 2009. Anna leaves behind to hold on to her precious memories a brother Berardino (Ida) Rossi of Boardman, a nephew Dennis (Cindy) Rossi of San Diego, California, a niece she thought of as a daughter Carol (Richard) Craven of Boardman, a great niece Kristyn (John) Singleton of Canfield, two great nephews Richard (Amanda) Craven of Columbus and Shawn Rossi of San Diego, California, two great-great nephews David and Matthew Singleton and a great-great niece Hailey Singleton. Friends may call on Monday, June 20, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Youngstown.
