Youngstown - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica, Youngstown, with the Very Rev. Msgr. Robert Siffrin as celebrant, for Anthony J. Falabella, 83, who passed away on Sunday evening, September 7, 2014 with his loving family by his side. Anthony will always be remembered and loved by his family and friends. He was born December 3, 1930 in Youngstown, the son of Joseph and Rose (Modarelli) Falabella and was a lifelong area resident. Anthony was a graduate of East High School and then continued his education by earning a Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance from Youngstown College. He was employed for many years with Trumbull Plumbing as a buyer and retired in 1992. Anthony proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II earning the rank of Private First Class. He received the following decorations the Good Conduct Medal and the Occupational Medal. He enjoyed gardening, spending time with his family and dogs and was an avid sports fan always rooting on his favorite teams the Cleveland Browns and Indians. He leaves behind to hold on to his memories his two nieces Angela Carnevale of New Jersey, and Lori Carnevale of Columbus, a nephew Vince Carnevale of Youngstown, a great niece Cindy (Ed) Zebosky, a great nephew Vince Carnevale Jr., a great-great niece Allison, a great-great nephew Zachary and his beloved pet dogs Mandy and Maggie Anthony was preceded in death by his parents and sister Mary Carnevale. Friends may call on Wednesday, September 7, 2014 from 9:00 p.m. until 9:50 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica, 343 Via Mount Carmel, Youngstown. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Youngstown with military honors provided by the great men United States Army. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
