Obituary

Boardman - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Luke Church, Boardman with Father Joseph Fata officiating, preceded by a 8:50 a.m. prayer service held at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, for Anthony Frazzini, 90, who peacefully passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at his residence. Anthony will always be remembered and loved by his family and friends. He was born July 30, 1921 in San Pietro, Avellano, Italy and moved to the United States in 1948. Anthony was the son of Filiberto and Nice (DiIullo) Frazzini. Anthony was a tailor for over 38 years and was employed at Kaufman Department Store and then retired from Strouss Department Store. He was a member of the National Italian Sports Hall of Fame, and a charter member of St. Luke Church, its Holy Name Society, was an adult server, usher and played on their bocce team. He enjoyed playing bocce, spending time with his family and friends, mall walking, and gardening along with being a huge sports fan especially soccer. His wife the former Nelia S. Sozio whom he married August 12, 1950 died September 15, 1996. He leaves behind to hold on to his memories a brother-in-law Renato (Ines) Sozio, his nieces and nephews Phil Busico with whom he made his home, Angela Christinisen, Louis Sozio, Joseph Sozio, Anna (Bret) Parks, Sandra Sozio, and Marialisa (Mark) Clark, grandnephews Philip (Nicole) Busico, David Busico, and Michael (Lesley) Busico, and his great nieces and nephews Olivia and Vinny Busico, Christopher, Matthew, and Elizabeth Sozio, Emily and Andrew Clark, and Maylina Coggiano. Besides his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a sister Dora Busico. Friends may call on Friday, December 2, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
