Obituary

Austintown - There will be a Memorial Service held on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, for Arthur N. Price, 82, of Austintown, who passed away on Tuesday morning June 28, 2011 with his family by his side. Arthur will always be remembered and loved by his family and friends for the way he always put others first and had time for everyone. He was born August 18, 1928 in Wales, the son of Arthur and Sybil (Weeks) Price and moved to the United States as a baby. Arthur worked for the Y & N Railroad as a conductor/brakemen for over 28 years and retired in 1980. He also was the owner/operator of Cycles Unlimited in North Jackson, Suzuki of Canton and Blaylock Drain Service from 1958 until the present. He was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and earned the rank of Airman Second Class. Arthur enjoyed motorcycles along with motorcycle races in Salem, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. His wife the former Betty J. Kovachik whom he married on September 18, 1950 died April 4, 1999. He leaves behind to hold on to his memories four children Larry (Jean) Price of Berlin Center, Ken (Lori) Price of Poland, Terry Price and Kelli Piccoli with whom he made his home, a sister Carol Lynn Price of Austintown, ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and his beloved pet dog Casey. Besides his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a daughter Novella Armeni, a brother Kenneth Price, and a sister Betty Lou Rednock. Friends may call on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:50 p.m. all at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
