Obituary

Youngstown - There will be a funeral service held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, with Father Gregory Maturi O.P., officiating for Barry M. "Zero" "Skip" Lloyd, 67, of Youngstown, who passed away Monday, April 6, 2015 after a courageous battle with lung disease. Barry will always be remembered and loved by his family and friends for fun loving and generous personality and smile. He was born June 3, 1947, in Youngstown, the son of John and Florence (Fitz-Patrick) Lloyd and was a lifelong area resident. Zero was a 1965 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School and attended Kent State University majoring in Fine Arts and Sculpting. Zero was a member of the Building Trades Union #125 working in construction with various companies throughout Youngstown as a laborer until his retirement in 2008. Zero had a passion for Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He enjoyed riding with his friends, building motorcycles from the frame all the way until completion, and motorcycle racing, but above all he loved spending time with his grandson and family. He leaves behind to hold on to his precious memories his wife of over 41 years the former Mary Ann Tuchek, a son David J. (Cara) Lloyd of Columbus, his pride and joy grandson Barrett, two brothers Gary T. (Companion Rose) Lloyd of Massachusetts and Robert J. (Julia) Lloyd of Poland, a sister Kathryn C. Lloyd of Boardman, along with many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins, friends and his beloved pet dog Casey. Besides his parents, Barry was preceded in death by a niece Tricia Lloyd. Friends may call on Friday, April 10, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home 4700 Market St., Boardman. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Youngstown.
