Boardman - There will be a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, with Father Philip Rogers as celebrant, for Bernard A. Zeroski Jr., 78, of Boardman, who passed away on Friday, November 27, 2015 at the Cleveland Clinic after a courageous battle with cancer and other complications. Bernard will be greatly missed and forever loved by his wife and children. He was born April 22, 1937 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, the son of Bernard A. Sr. and Mary Zeroski. Bernard was employed for over 30 years at H. J. Heinz Company in Pittsburgh as a salesman. Bernard was an active member of St. Charles Borromeo Church, where he was a lector and worked at their summer festivals. He was past president for his daughter's Parent Study Club and on the Parents Advisory Committee at the deaf offices in Boardman. Bernard was a proud United States Army Veteran serving during peace time and earned the rank of SP3. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal and received an Honorable Discharge. He leaves behind to hold on to his precious memories his beloved wife of over 49 years the former Rita Miller whom he married on April 16, 1966, his sons Craig and Carl and a daughter Mary Ann. He also leaves Carl's wife Justine and their triplets Hannah, Owen and Jack and a sister Joyce Edmundson and her family. Bernard was preceded in death by his parents. Friends and family may pay their respects on Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 10:00 am until 10:55 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 7345 Westview Dr., Boardman and following the mass military honors will be provided for Bernard by the great men and woman of the United States Army.
