Poland – Coleen G. Villone, 82, of Poland, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
Coleen was born on July 3, 1943, in Somerset, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Homer and Laverne (Barnett) Smith. She moved to the Youngstown area in the 1960s, where she made her home and raised her family.
A proud homemaker, Coleen devoted her life to her family. She especially enjoyed cooking and baking, and her loved ones will fondly remember and miss her many wonderful dishes. She was a faithful member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica.
Coleen is survived by her beloved husband, Rocco M. Villone, whom she married on November 5, 1983; her son, David Ankney; her brother, Neil Smith; her sister, Joan (Paul) Martz; her sister-in-law, Janet Lyon; and many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Lynn Judy.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday morning, January 7, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:20 a.m. at Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market Street, Boardman.
A prayer service will be held at 10:25 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica, 343 Via Mount Carmel, Youngstown, with the Very Rev. Msgr. John Zuraw, J.C.L., V.G., serving as celebrant.
Burial will take place at Lake Park Cemetery, Youngstown.
