Canfield - There will be a funeral service held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 12:30 pm at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman with Father Philip Rogers officiating, for Daniel J. "Danny" Pannozzo Sr., 82, of Canfield, who passed away Friday, August 19, 2016 with his loving family by his side. Danny will always be remembered and loved by his family and friends for his smile, humbleness and outgoing personality. He was born November 5, 1933 in Campbell, the son of Vincent and Vincenza (Campajourne) Pannozzo and was a lifelong area resident. Danny was a graduate of South High School where he excelled in playing basketball and attended classes at Youngstown State University. He was employed for over 35 years in management at Republic Steel Company which was later LTV Steel Company and retired in 1995. Danny was of the Catholic faith and had many passions throughout this life. He enjoyed bowling, traveling to his Florida home and socializing at family parties. He also enjoyed spending time especially with his sons and grandchildren and was a true "Mr. Fix It". Danny was an excellent and avid golfer along with having great interest in news, politics and history. He leaves behind to hold onto his precious memories, his beloved wife of 42 years the former Lucy Hallof, whom he married August 3, 1974, three sons Daniel J. Jr. (Angela) of Michigan, Vince (Beverly) of Florida and Gordon (Vicki) Hallof of Lewisville, thirteen grandchildren, three sisters Gertrude Carson, Mary Pantaleo and Jean (Joseph) Rosati and three brothers Dr. Anthony Pannozzo, Frank (Patty) Pannozzo and James (Roberta) Pannozzo along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by three brothers Oddy, John and Richard Pannozzo. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 11:30 am until 12:25 pm at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home 4700 Market St., Boardman. In lieu of flowers material contributions may be made in Danny's name to Hospice House, 9803, Sharrott Rd., Poland Ohio 44514.
