Obituary

Lowellville - Daniel "Danny" Marshall Fay, 65, of Lowellville, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from an apparent heart attack. Daniel was born March 19, 1950 in Washington, Pennsylvania, the son of Joseph and Dorothy (Simms) Fay. Daniel resided in Youngstown and then for the last 12 years lived in Crystal Creek, Colorado and Thermopolis, Wyoming. Daniel attended St. Matthias Grade School and graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School in 1968. Daniel was a proud United States Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was stationed at Phu Cat as a Canine Patrolman. Daniel was employed as a roofer until returning back from the war and was a Disabled War Veteran. Daniel enjoyed the outdoors, camping, booting, and riding his motorcycle along with being an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He leaves behind his brother Joseph C. Fay of Lowellville. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents. In keeping with Daniel's request there will be no calling hours and a caring cremation will take place. Burial with full military honors will be held at a later date at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
