David Joseph III, formerly of Austintown, passed away on Wednesday, December 17 at Garnett Hill Rehab Facility in Wylie, TX. David was born in Youngstown, OH on February 21, 1935 the son of David Joseph, Jr. and Marian (Vogel) Joseph. David lived in the Youngstown area until July 2012 when he and his wife moved to Texas to be close to their daughter. He was employed by Dunning Crum Bottling Co., Republic Steel Corp. and Grinding Equipment & Machinery prior to his retirement. David was a member of Disciples Christian Church. David loved music and especially loved singing with the choir at Disciples Christian Church, the Noteables from Austintown AARP No. 4439, a barbershop chorus and the choir at Christ Church Presbyterian. David is survived by his wife Marma Jean "Toni" whom he married in May, 1956 and a daughter Pamela (Rick) Weaver , 2 granddaughters Jessica Bohmer and Heather (Scott) Fetty; 2 great grandsons, Taylor "TJ" Bohmer and Brock Fetty, all from the Dallas, TX area; a sister Dorothy Johnson of Boardman, and many nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents, David was proceeded in death by a brother, Edwin R. Joseph who died in 2011, twin daughters Darlene & Debra who passed shortly after birth in December 1956. David's life will be remembered and celebrated at Disciples Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Road (across from Giant Eagle) on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 4:00 pm. There will be calling hours at the church on Sunday, from 3:00 pm until 3:50 pm. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
