There will be a memorial service held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman (new location) with Pastor Matthew Ferguson officiating for David C. Johnston, 76, for died Friday morning, November 24, 2017.

David will always be remembered and loved for his caring personality.

He was born April 6, 1941 in Youngstown, the son of the late Edward and Ruth (Bowser) Johnston and was a lifelong area resident.

David was an excellent handy man and loved to tinker with clocks and antique model cars. He was of the Baptist faith and was an avid coin collector.

David is survived by his sisters, Ruth Ann Reyes and Ida (David Day) Johnston, both of Youngstown, and Mary Lou Johnston of Campbell; a brother, Billy Johnston of Youngstown and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, David was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Raymond and Barbara Raymond and a brother, Edwin Johnston.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 2:00 pm until 2:50 pm at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, Boardman.

In lieu of flowers material contributions may be made in David's name to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses.
