Campbell - There will be a funeral service held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 10:00 am at New Bethel Baptist Church, 1507 Hillman St., Youngstown, with the Reverend Kenneth Simon officiating, for Deacon Richard L. Robinson Sr., 76, of Campbell, affectionately known as "Dickey", who entered into eternal rest on January 30, 2016. Dickey will always be remembered and loved by his family and friends for being a true family man, his honesty, his smile, his generosity, his humor, and some many more wonderful qualities. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio to Eustace and Isabel Wilson Robinson on March 7, 1939. Mr. Robinson attended Youngstown City Schools. He was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church where he served on the Deacon Board, was a forty year member of "The Male Chorus" and was a member of the "Prison Ministry", delivered meals for the church's "Food Give A Way Ministry" and also created a special "Microphone Ministry" for the Youngstown Area Community. He was a faithful member of the Sunday School and served on the "Spiritual Emphasis Committee at the Young Men's Christian Association, where he retired after thirty years of service. He leaves to cherish his memory, his sister Doris Dawson, of Conyers, Ga.His children; Janice Cook and Curtis Davis of Youngstown, Stacy Robinson of Columbus, Ohio, Tangela Robinson of Sacramento California, Tawana (Rocky) Robinson Warren of Campbell, Ohio and Richard L. Robinson Jr. of Atlanta Georgia. Eight grandchildren, Sean (Schneeke) Cook of San Diego, California, Artell Cook of Youngstown, Ohio, Olivia Davis of San Bernadino California, Marquisha and Stephon Brown of Columbus, Ohio, Anthony Campbell of Youngstown, Ohio, Antwan Campbell of Utah, and Xavier Warren of Campbell, Ohio. Five Great grandchildren, Sean Thomas Cook Jr. and Mackenzie Cook of San Diego, California, Melissa Young of San Bernadino, California, Arionna Tatum and Laniya Brown of Columbus, Ohio, his loving campanion Ms. Jeanette Miller and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Eustace Robinson Jr., and Edward Robinson Sr., two sisters, Juanita Thomas and Ellen Alexander, a daughter Nicole Robinson and a special friend and brother in Christ, Charles Turnage Jr. Friends may call on Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 9:00 am until 9:55 am at New Bethel Baptist Church, 1507 Hillman St., Youngstown. Burial will take place at Belmont Park Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
