Boardman - Donald W. "Donny" LoGiudice, 28, of Boardman, became a victim of laced heroin that caused his untimely passing on Thursday morning, April 2, 2015. Donny will always be remembered and loved by his family and friends for so many wonderful characteristics. He was the life of a party and had the ability to light up a room wherever he was. No one was a stranger to Donny and once you were his friend you were it forever. His love, generosity and compassion were true inspirations for everyone. He was known as "Mr. Downtown Youngstown" for all the positive effects he had helping others. He was born May 15, 1986 in Youngstown, the son of Donald W. and Loretta "Lorie" (Leach) LoGiudice and was a lifelong area resident. Donny was a 2004 graduate of Boardman High School, and also of the Mahoning Valley Career and Technical School where he won numerous awards for his artistic ability. He was employed at various restaurants and bars throughout the area working as a waiter and bartender, but he truly enjoyed working at Martini Brothers in downtown Youngstown. Donny enjoyed cooking, fashion, researching Youngstown's history, making jewelry and doing art work. He loved listening to music and spending time with his friends. He leaves behind to hold on to his precious memories his parents Donald W. LoGiudice and Loretta "Lorie" LoGiudice, a brother Curtis M. LoGiudice of Jacksonville, Florida, a nephew Evin LoGiudice, two nieces Jennifer (Jason) Altman and Shannon LoGiudice, a great nephew Alec, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Robert (Eleanor) Leach and paternal grandparents Dominic (Anna) LoGiudice. Friends may call on Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman. There will be a celebration of life fundraiser on Sunday, April 12, 2015 beginning at noon until 11:00 p.m. at Martini Brothers in downtown Youngstown.
