Obituary

Youngstown - There will be a funeral service held on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, with the Very Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Cariglio officiating for Edward J. Brozman, 87, of the Youngstown Southside, who passed away Tuesday evening December 10, 2013. Edward will always be remembered and loved by his family and friends. He was born October 12, 1926 in Youngstown, the son of Michael and Anna (Michulisko) Brozman and was a lifelong area resident. Ed was employed as an iron worker with Ohio Valley Sheeting and Painting Company. He was a Untied States Army Veteran of World War II where he earned the rank of Private First Class. Ed served with the 93rd Squadron19th Bomb Group and he received the following decorations and citations for his serve to our country; the Good Conduct Medal, the Victory medal, the Army of Occupation Medal (Japan) and the Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon. Ed enjoyed fishing and hunting, but he especially loved spending time with his grandsons. He had a true passion for golf and excelled in the game where he had the opportunity to become a professional player. He was member of the Catholic War Veterans John J. Buckley Post 1292, the Fraternal Order of Eagles on South Ave., the Petri Club, Salem Hills Golf and Country Club and numerous golf leagues. He leaves behind to hold on to his precious memories his wife of over 65 years the former Susan Pallotta whom he married August 14, 1948, a daughter Diane (Thomas) Struble of Youngstown, two grandsons Thomas and Todd Struble and a brother John (Jenny) Brozman of Youngstown. Besides his parents Ed was preceded in death by his brothers Victor, Rudy, Michael and Joseph and his sisters Rose, Anna, Mildred, and Mary. Friends may call on Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:20 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home 4700 Market St., Boardman.
