Boardman - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 11:00 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 7345 Westview Dr., Boardman, with Father Michael Marcelli officiating, for Eileen Iarussi , 93, of Boardman, who passed away early Monday morning, April 8, 2013. Eileen will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends. She was born November 11, 1919 in Youngstown the daughter of Joseph and Gilda (Santangelo) Marinelli and was a lifelong area resident. Besides being a proud homemaker Eileen was employed as a secretary for Scween Wagner, the Edward DeBartolo Corp. along with many realtors. She was a 1937 graduate of Chaney High School and a member of St. Charles Church, its Senior Citizens Group, the 2162 Club and the Catholic Daughters of America. Eileen enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and playing cards especially the game of 500. She leaves behind to hold on to her precious memories her husband of over 64 years Felix "Phil" Iarussi whom she married September 4, 1948, a daughter Patricia (Richard) Barnhart of Columbus and two grandchildren Emily and Michael Barnhart of Columbus. Eileen was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Wilma Cicchese and Doris Biasella. Friends may call on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 from 10:00 am until 10:50 am at St. Charles Church, Boardman. Entombment will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens, Canfield. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman. In lieu of flowers material contributions can be made to St. Charles Church, 7345 Westview Dr., Boardman, Ohio 44512.
