Campbell – Ernest Raymond Stalnacker, 80, passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, February 10, 2024, with his loving family by his side.

He was born December 4, 1943, in Youngstown, the son of Elmer Sr. and Viola (Such) Stalnacker and was a lifelong area resident. Ernest was known as "Cool" by his family and friends.

Ernest graduated from Campbell High School and was a member of Campbell Grid Iron Club.

He began his career at General Fireproofing and US Steel and then retired from MPI Inc. along with being a union representative and served as vice president.

Ernest will always be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He always made his family his top priority and loved spending time with them especially his grandchildren.

Ernest enjoyed coaching baseball at Mill Creek Park and was an avid sports fan of all Cleveland teams the Browns, Indians and Cavaliers.

Ernest leaves behind to hold onto his memories his two sons Ted Stalnacker and Robert Stalnacker both of Austintown, his beloved grandchildren Brittany, Robert Jr., and Domenic, and a brother Elmer Stalnacker Jr. of Campbell along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Ernest was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved granddaughter Madison Stalnacker.

Family and friends may call on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 6:55 pm at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St, Boardman, where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm with Deacon Anthony Falasca as celebrant.

Ernest's family would like to thank the entire staff at the Hospice House for all the care and compassion shown to Ernest and to them throughout this difficult time.
