Obituary

Boardman - There will be a Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial held on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Maron Church, 1555 S. Meridian, Rd., Youngstown, with Chorbishop Michael Kail officiating and Father Gregory Fedor con-celebrating, for Frances J. (Rulli) Dohar, 74, of Boardman, who passed away peacefully early Friday morning, December 16, 2011 with her loving family by her side. Frances will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends for her smile and the love she showed to her family especially her four grandchildren which she was so proud of. She was born March 20, 1937 in Youngstown the daughter of Joseph and Frances (Cartone) Rulli and was a lifelong area resident. Frances retired from Burlington Coat Factory after working for over 15 years in sales along with being a homemaker. She was a graduate of East High School and enjoyed taking trips to Mountaineer, cooking, and baking her famous pizzelle cookies. Frances was a member of St. Maron Church, the Go-Go 500 Card Club, along with being actively involved with the Relay for Life. Her husband John Michael Dohar whom she married August 24, 1963 died March 9, 2003. She leaves behind to hold on to her precious memories her three daughters Judy (Richard) Schrader of Lowellville, Annie (Fred) Ciarniello of Austintown, and Gabrielle Dohar with whom she made her home, four grandchildren Rich and Jacque Schrader, Francesca Dohar, and Joseph Ciarniello, two sisters Theresa Testa, and Josephine (Gene) Testa, a brother Rocky (Dorothy) Rulli, two sisters-in-law Marie (John) Abbas, Helene D'Apolito, and four brothers-in-law Thomas Dohar, Colin Donahue, Peter (Judy) Dohar, and Michael (Georgia) Dohar. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Friends may call on Sunday, December 18, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, where the Prayers of Incense will take place at 6:00 p.m. and friends may call again on at the church on Monday morning, December 19, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. at St. Maron Church.
