Youngstown - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at Sta. Rose de Lima Church, 394 Tenney Ave., Campbell, with Father Shawn Conoboy preceded by a 12:30 p.m. prayer service held at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman for Francisco C. Reyes, 71, of Youngstown, who passed away Friday evening at home, June 27, 2014 after a long illness with his loving family by his side. Francisco will always be remembered and loved by his family and friends for his smile, and lively rambunctious character. He was born October 04, 1942 in Caguas, Puerto Rico, the son of Higinio Galarza-Reyes and Romana (Crespo) Reyes and moved to the Youngstown area when he was 16. Francisco was employed for over 30 years with General Motors Lordstown Plant and retired in 1996. He was a member of Sta. Rose de Lima Church and the UAW Local 1112. Francisco was a very talented musician and was able to play many instruments and was also a handy versatile person. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren whom he cherished. He leaves behind to hold onto his precious memories of his wife of over 48 years the former Ruth A. Johnson whom he married August 21, 1965, his children Daniel (Catherine) Reyes of Campbell, Francisco Jr. (Jannette) Reyes of Youngstown, Thomas (Melissa) Reyes of Boardman, James Reyes and family of Boardman, and Miguel (Stacey) Reyes of Youngstown, 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, two brothers Manual (Olympia) Reyes of Youngstown, and Edwin (Dely) Reyes of Puerto Rico, two sisters Eulalia (Arcadio) Dejesus of Youngstown, and Hilda (Andres) Torres of Campbell and his beloved pet dog Lucky. Francisco was preceded in death by his parents Higinio Galarza -Reyes and Romana (Crespo) Reyes, a son Baby Reyes and a granddaughter Sabrina Nicole Reyes, four brothers Virginio, Heriberto, Cecilio, Justino Reyes, and a sister Crucita Reyes. Friends may call on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Youngstown.
