Akron – Frank L. Homan, 59, of Akron, passed away Saturday evening, December 17, 2016 after a year's long battle of fighting cancer that has finally come to an end.

We have lost the greatest husband, father, son, brother, papa, friend and coach of all times.

Frank had so much more in life yet to do and it was taken way too short. He touched so many lives through his years that will never be forgotten. Once you met him, you never forgot him. He was the rock of our family!

He left the love of his life of 42 yrs. Patty Homan, daughter Jen (John) Heid, son Michael (Amber) Homan, grandchildren Paris, Brynlee, Landon & Aubrey. Mother Dolores, Brothers Michael and Steve (Marsha) and his family. He will forever remain in our hearts.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
