Obituary

Poland - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Youngstown, with the Very Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Cariglio officiating, preceded by a 9:10 a.m. prayer service held at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, for Frank Innocenzi Sr., 83, of Poland, who passed away Saturday morning, August 11, 2012, with his loving family by his side. Frank will always be remembered and loved for his big smile, outgoing personality, but most of all for the love he showed to his family, especially his grandchildren. He was born May 17, 1929 in Lowellville, Ohio the son of Ercole "Patsy" and Fenesia (Nardis) Innocenzi, and was a lifelong area resident. Frank, a businessman all his life, was predominantly in sales, which was a perfect fit for him, because he loved to socialize with people. He founded Milton Auto Sales in 1976, and has worked with his son Frank Jr. for over 36 years. He enjoyed the time spent with his eldest son in the car business, rarely considering it work. He was a 1947 graduate of Lowellville High School and attended Youngstown College. Frank was a member of the Youngstown Morra League and a team sponsor, the Mount Carmel Society in Lowellville, and an active and proud member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, where he served as an usher. At the church, he also volunteered for the spaghetti dinners and the festival. He enjoyed playing morra, watching movies, swimming, diving, target shooting, gardening, and was an avid history enthusiast, especially involving the American Civil War and World War II. Frank was extremely proud of his Italian heritage, and had traveled to Italy many times. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of over 63 years, the former Teresa Milione, whom he married May 28, 1949, three children Frank Jr. (Mary Ann) Innocenzi of Hillsville, PA, Patti (Warren) Wilding of Boardman, and Dr. Mark Innocenzi of Thousand Oaks, CA , four grandchildren Anthony (Cindy) Innocenzi, Christopher (Erin) Innocenzi, Shannon (George) Stoykov, and Jimmy (FiancAC. Nicole Lambright) Miller, six great grandchildren Victoria, Frankie, Vincent, Salvatore, Cadence, and Logan, and two sisters Kay (Joe) Marshall of Mineral Ridge, and Irene Pacella of Norco, CA. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two infant brothers and an infant grandchild. Friends may call on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman. Burial will take place at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Lowellville.
