Youngstown - There will be a funeral service held on Monday, June 6, 2016 at 5:00 pm at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, with Pastor Russ Adams officiating, for Gary M. Harkleroad, 62, of Youngstown, who passed away Monday, May 30, 2016 at his residence. Gary will always be remembered and loved by his family and friends for his generous, caring and easy going personality. He was born October 30, 1953 in Warren, Ohio the son of Calvis and Virginia (Baker) Harkleroad. Gary was a graduate of Royal High School in Simi Valley, California and then upon moving back to the Youngstown area he graduated from New Castle School of Trades with an electrical degree. He was employed for over 30 years working in the steel industry and currently was working for Vallourec Steel Company. Gary had many passions throughout this life. He enjoyed golfing, cooking, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Gary also enjoyed playing darts in various leagues and could fix anything, he was a true "Mr. Fix It". He leaves behind to hold onto his memoires two sons Matthew (Chrissy) Harkleroad and Jason (Sarah) Harkleroad, three grandsons Emmett, Drake and Walter, three brothers Dale (Cynthia) Harkleroad, David (Carol) Harkleroad and William Harkleroad, a sister Colleen (Robert) Thiesler, his fiancAC. Tanya Joseph, a step daughter Tiara Joseph and four step grandchildren Cameron, Jordyn, Jadyn and Gianna. Besides his parents, Gary was preceded in death by a brother James Harkleroad.
