Obituary

Youngstown - There will be a funeral service held on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, with Pastor Steve Zawilinski officiating, for George Such Jr., 84, of Youngstown, who passed away on Wednesday afternoon, August 7, 2013 with his loving family by his side. George will always be remembered and loved by his family and friends. He was born July 3, 1929 in Lowellville, the son of George Sr. and Mary (Pretoka) Such and was a lifelong area resident. George retired after over 35 years as a crane operator with Carbon Limestone Company. He was of the Presbyterian faith, and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and Lowellville Rod and Gun Club. George enjoyed farming, playing Keno and BINGO, and taking trips to Mountaineer. Some of the most memorable times George loved was all the traveling he did with his companion Rosella and they especially enjoyed going to Arizona. George leaves behind to hold on to his precious memories three step daughters Linda Aaron of Boardman, Stephanie Kapsouris his caregiver and with whom he made his home, and Geraldine Cook of Youngstown, a niece Diane (John) Ross of Newton Falls, two nephews Joseph Andrevich of Colorado and Robert Andrevich of Japan, eight step grandchildren Tammy Cook, Gerald T Aaron Jr., Nicholas Kapsouris, Daniel (Salena) Cook, Nicole Danus, Kimberly Kapsouris, Michael Kapsouris, and Tiffany (Christopher) Spiker and thirteen step great grandchildren Brittany Spivey, Dominic Cook, Gerald T Aaron III, Michael Schaffer, Alexis Kapsouris, Daniel Jr, Amanda and Ashley Danus, Gabriella and Kayla Spiker and Katelynn, Halie and Danika Cook. Besides his parents George was preceded in death by his wife Maryann Such, five sisters Margaret Rohal, Mae Gary, Gloria Zalewski, Anna Cicchillo and Theresa Andrevich, two brothers Stanley and Joe Such, his lifelong companion Rosella Risher and a step grandson William Aaron. Friends may call on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman. Burial will take place at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Lowellville. .
