Obituary

Campbell – Grace Marie Sloan, 94, of Campbell, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, June 8, 2025, with her loving family by her side.

Grace will always be remembered for her positivity, kindness, and generous spirit.

Born on May 19, 1931, in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of Frank and Grace (Licavoli) Cammarata. She moved to Warren in 1949 and later settled in the Youngstown area in 1962.

A proud homemaker and devoted matriarch, Grace cherished her role in her family's life. She made her loved ones her highest priority and found joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was a faithful member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica.

Throughout her life, Grace enjoyed many passions. She loved cooking, tending to her flower beds, and traveling, especially her trips with friends to Atlantic City. She treasured winter months spent in Florida, relaxing summer days on the houseboat at Shenango Reservoir, and visits to Geneva-on-the-Lake. These special moments were often shared with her beloved companion, Louis A. Marinelli.

Grace leaves behind her children, Tina Rossi and Frank (De De) Rossi, both of California; her cherished grandchildren, Nicole Rossi and Frank Rossi Jr.; her sister, Lil Amato; her niece, Grace Amato; and many cousins. She also leaves her close and dear friends, Brandy Kennedy and Kathy Cora, whose loyal friendship and support meant the world to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved Louis A. Marinelli; her brother, Russell Cammarata; her brother-in-law, Manuel Amato; and her nephew, Angelo Amato.
