COLUMBIANA-Grace L. Ruess,94 There will be a funeral service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Rossi and Santucci Funeral Home for Grace L. Ruess, 94 who passed away Saturday afternoon at St. Mary's Alzheimer's Center. Grace was born December 11,1919 in Crow's Nest, PA a daughter of John and Angeline Simeone DeFrank and has an area resident since 1944. She worked as an assistant buyer for Woolworth's Company for over 30 years. She was a long time parishioner at Holy Family parish. Grace enjoyed reading, crocheting, knitting, needlepoint, taking care of her house plants and collecting antiques. She leaves behind to treasure her memories her two sons, Gerald D (Nadine) Ruess Sr. of Austintown, Paul A. Ruess Jr. of Poland; her two brothers, Stephen DeFrank of Florida, Sam DeFrank of Arizona; her grandchildren, Jessica Ruess of New Middletown, Megan Ruess of Edmond, OK, Gerald D. Ruess Jr. of PA, Michele Lynn Rock of Struthers, Norma Jean Ruess of Campbell; seven great grandchildren, Samantha Ruess, Michael Rock, Marissa Rock, Ian Ruess, Marc Ruess, Austin Trebella and Zane Park and several nieces and nephews. Grace was preceded in death by her husband Paul A. Ruess Sr. who died on October 28, 1982 , her daughter-in-law Dorothy Ruess; her brothers, Anthony, John, Dominic and Andrew Ruess; her sisters, Ann Quatro, Edith DeFrank, Laura Cook and Louise Fawcette.
