Poland - There will be a funeral service held on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, with Pastor Joyce Lawson officiating, for Harold M. Costello Jr., 60, of Poland, who passed away Sunday evening, February 19, 2012 with his loving family by his side after a short courageous battle with cancer. Harold will always be remembered for his unconditional love and devotion to his family and friends. He was always the first one there to lend a hand for whatever reason, never expecting anything in return. He was a kind loving and generous person. He will truly be missed and loved by all who knew him. He was born July 19, 1951 in Youngstown and was raised in New Springfield. He was the son of Harold M. Sr. and Virginia J. (McCoy) Costello. Harold was employed for over 44 years as a tool and die maker and became a machinist, where he was most recently working for Mahoning Valley Tool and Machine Company. He was of the Lutheran faith and a 1970 graduate of New Springfield High School. Harold was member of the VFW Post 2799 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed bowling, gardening and family cookouts, He truly loved the outdoors and working in his yard and tending to his landscaping. He also enjoyed the winter and loved the snow and often took pictures of his snow covered house and yard. He leaves behind to hold on to his precious memories a daughter Heather, a brother Patrick F. (Sandra) Costello of Petersburg, five sisters Shirley Ann Miles of Kentucky, Jacquelyn L. (John) Giannios of Poland, Carol (Joseph) Damore of Youngstown, Karen Kunder of North Carolina, and Ruth Costello of Poland, 14 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by an Infant Baby Boy who was a triplet of his. Friends may call on Thursday, February 23, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Friday, February 24, 2012 from 10:30 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. all at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. Boardman.
