Obituary

Youngstown - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Youngstown, with the Very Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Cariglio officiating, preceded by a 9:15 a.m. prayer service held at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, for Helen Butch, 85, of Youngstown, who passed away peacefully at her residence Wednesday morning April 27, 2011 with her loving family by her side. Helen will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends. She was born January 23, 1926 in Nelson County, Kentucky, the daughter of Harvey and Lulu (Vittitow) Cundiff and moved to the Youngstown area in 1945. Helen was a homemaker and hairdresser for over 30 years where she worked out of her home. She also worked as a color technician for Zotos and then in her later years worked for One on One Demo Company. She was a member of St. Christine Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles 3298 in Austintown. elen enjoyed quilting, sewing, landscaping, taking trips to Mountaineer, along with being an avid bowler. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She leaves behind to hold on to her precious memories her three children Michael R. (Sally) Butch of Virginia, Gregory F. (Peggy) Butch of McDonald and Carylon (Frank) Grimaldi of Youngstown, eight grandchildren Scott (Terri) Mascioli, Sandra Teague, Mitchell (Melony) Mascioli, Jason Butch, Rachel Butch, Kelly Butler, Jason Grimaldi, and Stefanie Grimaldi, and eight great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her former husband Michael Butch, two sisters Inez Routt and Margie Kennedy, and five brothers Bernard, Curtis, Woodrow, Ernest, and Eugene Cundiff. Friends may call on Friday, April 29, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
