Boardman - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Youngstown, with the Very Rev, Msgr. Michael J. Cariglio Jr. officiating, preceded by a 12:15 pm prayer service held at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, for James Joseph Billock Sr., 63, of Boardman, who passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning December 7, 2011 with his wife by his side. James will always be remembered and loved by his family and friends, especially for his love of Elvis. He was born February 2, 1948 in Newton Falls, the son of Steven and Lavera (Chapman) Billock. James was a 1967 graduate of Newton Falls High School and the Joint Vocation School with a certification in welding. He was a welder fro many years and worked most recently at Car Wreck Company. He enjoyed fishing race cars and attending and watching drag races. He had a passion for camping and camped for over 30 years at Ponderosa Park. He leaves behind his wife the former Karen Angela Barbato whom he married May 15, 1976, a son James Joseph Billock Jr. of Boardman, a brother Steven Billock, and two sisters Martha Ann (Kenny) Shields and Cathy Billock. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call on Saturday, December 10, 2011 from 11:00 am until 12:15 pm at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
