Youngstown - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica, 343 Via Mt. Carmel, Youngstown, with the Very Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Cariglio Jr. as celebrant, for Jeanette Caizza, 89, of Youngstown, who peacefully passed away on Wednesday March 4, 2015. Jeanette will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends for her smile and generous personality. She was born March 12, 1925 in Niles, Ohio the daughter of Anielo and Rose Patrone and was a lifelong area resident. Jeanette was a graduate of Niles High School. Jeanette retired after over 40 years of employment with Prudential Life Insurance Company as a manager, working in Warren and Youngstown offices. She was a proud and active member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica, where Jeanette was a member of the Mothers of Crucifix Society and St. Monica Guild along with volunteering for the Festival and Spaghetti Dinners. She leaves behind her husband of over 63 years Louis Caizza whom she married June 21, 1945, and a sister Isabelle Colard along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents Jeanette was preceded in death by a brother Nick Patrone and four sisters Mary Veri, Louise Consiglio, Philomena Hoffsteter and Annie Malone. Friends may call on Monday, March 9, 2015 from 9:30 am until 9:55 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica, 343 Via Mt. Carmel, Youngstown. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Youngstown. In lieu of flowers material contributions may be made in Jeanette's name to Hospice House, 9803 Sharrott Rd., Poland Ohio 44514.
