Youngstown - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica, 343 Via Mt. Carmel, Youngstown, with the Very Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Cariglio Jr. as celebrant, for John R. Bell, 90, of Youngstown, who passed away peacefully, Wednesday morning, January 7, 2015 at Northside Hospital. John will always be remembered for the laughter he brought to everyone. He was born July 13, 1924 in Petersburg, Ohio, the son of Harry and Anna (Fostich) Bell. John was employed for many years with Goodwill Industries and Mahoning Paint. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica. John had many enjoyments throughout his life. Some of his fondest were working in his garden and then sharing his vegetables, reading and staying up on current events, going to eat at Texas Roadhosue and playing pool which he was excellent at playing. John's memory will live on with many of his friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call on Monday, January 12, 2015 from 9:00 am until 9:55 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica, 343 Via Mt. Carmel, Youngstown.
