Oklahoma - John Quinn O'Malley, 72, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 15, 2026, in Jenks, Oklahoma.

John was born on March 9, 1954, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Howard J. O'Malley Jr. and Rosemary Quinn O'Malley. He graduated from Ursuline High School with the Class of 1972 and continued his education at Gannon University.

John worked for the family business before relocating to Beaumont, Texas, and later settling in Jenks, Oklahoma, where he made his home.

He had a deep love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golf. John also had a special affection for animals.

John is survived by his loving and devoted partner, Lysandra Julian, who stood by his side with extraordinary love and care; his brother, Breen G. O'Malley; sister-in-law, Lori O'Malley; nephews, Howard “Jay” O'Malley and his wife, Jackie, and their daughters, Fiona and Phoebe, of Columbus, Ohio; Sean O'Malley and his significant other, Morgan Kise, of California; niece, Bridget Spangler and her husband, James, and their children, Jameson and Jocelyn, of Dayton, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Howard J. O'Malley III.

Per John’s request, no services will be held.
