Obituary

Youngstown - John A. Zucco, 71, of Youngstown, left to be with the Lord on August 14, 2014. John loved his family more than anything in this world and he will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was a kind and gentle man with a huge heart. He was born October 17, 1942 in Youngstown, the son of Prosper and Mary (Peachock) Zucco and was a lifelong area resident. John was a retired Youngstown Police officer and then went on to manage the Trinity Hope Outreach Store. He was an avid musician playing with many area bands, Johnny Zuccos Organ Combo, the Breeze Brothers and Round Two. John leaves behind to hold on to his memories his beloved wife of over 50 years the former Judy Watters whom he married July 17, 1964, his mother Mary Zucco, three children Tina (Randall) Navarra, Michelle (Jon) Blair, and John (Alyson) Zucco, six grandchildren Katerina, Frank and Nicholas Navarra, Colton and Courtney Blair and Prosper Zucco, a sister Nancy (Al) Crone, and a sister-in-law Marisa Zucco along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. John was preceded in death by his father Prosper A. Zucco and a brother Frank J. Zucco. Per John's request there will be no services. The family invites all relatives and friends for a memorial celebration at John's home 1726 Manhattan Ave., Youngstown, on Wednesday August 20, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
