Youngstown - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica, 343 Via Mt. Carmel, Youngstown, with the Very Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Cariglio Jr. as celebrant, preceded by a 9:10 a.m. prayer service held at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, for Joseph "Pinch" Pinciaro Sr., 75, of Youngstown, who passed away peacefully, January 6, 2015 with his loving family by his side. Pinch will always be remembered and loved by his family and friends for his sense of humor, smile and outgoing personality and his love for animals and always rescuing them. . He was born on the east side of Youngstown on August 23, 1939, a son of Anthony and Lillian (Zinaja) Pinciaro and was a lifelong area resident. Joe spent the majority of his life in the collision repair business where he started out working side by side with his father at Riley Bros. Towing and Auto Repair, which was owned by his father. From Riley's Joe went to work for Chuck's Auto Body (Struthers) and then went on to open his own collision repair shop in 1973, Automotive Dynamics in Youngstown. Another father and son tradition came about when his son David joined him in 1991. Pinch attended East High School and as a teenager, he boxed in the Golden Gloves. Joe won the championship in the 1957 Golden Gloves 126lb. Novice Division. Joe was an avid golfer and a member of the former Fonderlac Country Club for over 18 years. He enjoyed going with his family many places and some of his favorites were all the festivals, the Friday night football games at Spartan Stadium and especially the Canfield Fair. Joe always put his family first and his greatest enjoyments came from spending time with them, but especially the time he spent with his grandchildren. Joe will be deeply missed by his love of 27 years, Michelle Elias, his devoted children Lisa (Kerry) Beach of Las Vegas, Joseph Jr. (Laney) Pinciaro of Boardman and David (FiancAC.e Meghan) Pinciaro of Poland, six grandchildren Joseph (Katie) Vespe of Texas, Kyle and Kaley Ross of Las Vegas and Gianna, Tony, and Dominic Pinciaro of Boardman, two great grandchildren Alex and Zoey of Texas, and two sisters Camille Capezzuto of Buena Park, California and Andrea (Steve) Benedict of Columbiana, along with his faithful and beloved canines Carter and Max. Joe was preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Lillian Pinciaro. Friends may call on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home 4700 Market St., Boardman. Joe's family would like to thank the entire staff and doctors at St. Elizabeth Hospital 4th floor ICU Unit for all the constant care and compassion they showed him and his family during his stay.
