Canfield - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Michael Church, 300 n. Broad St., Canfield, with Father Terrence J. Hazel officiating, preceded by a 9:10 am prayer service held at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, for Josephine M. Marian, 95, of Canfield who peacefully passed away on Sunday evening, January 10, 2016 with her loving family by her side. Josephine will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends for her outgoing personality and smile. She was born December 28, 1920 in the Brier Hill section of Youngstown, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Franco) Pellitt and was a lifelong area resident. Josephine was a proud homemaker and always put her family above anything else. Her family will miss all the Sunday dinners that Josephine prepared with all of her excellent Italian dishes. She was known for her wonderful spaghetti sauce and pizzelles. She was a member of St. Michael Church and many card clubs. Josephine had a passion for shopping especially when it can to shoes and she also enjoyed playing cards along with spending time outside. Her husband Carl Marian whom she married June 10, 1946 died August 7, 1996. She leaves behind to hold on to her precious memories a son Earl "Butch" (Terri) Marian with whom she made her home, two grandchildren Craig (Nicole Sorice) Marian of Chicago, Illinois and Jennifer (Jared) Wolf of Twinsburg along with her extended family Joe Casal and family and Brad Casal and family. Besides her parents and husband Josephine was preceded in death by two brothers Matt and Peter Pellitt and three sisters Carmel Cuccarese, Mazzi Cvetkovich and Angeline Cuccarese. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home 4700 Market St., Boardman. Josephine's family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the entire staff of the Hampton Woods Nursing Facility and Cross Roads Hospice for all the excellent care and compassion shown to them during her illness.

Prayers will begin at 9:10 am on Thursday at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:0 am at St. Michael Church, 300 N Broad St. Canfield.
