Poland - Karen Marie Cuddy, 63, passed away peacefully at Hospice House on the evening of Dec. 12, 2014. She was born February 12, 1951, in Youngstown, a daughter of Henry and Eda (Donofrio) Constantino. A 1969 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School, Karen was a talented singer, and she competed in the Miss Mahoning County Pageant. Many from the area may remember her smiling face greeting them at the receptionist desk at Casal's dAC. Spa & Salon in Canfield, where she worked for many years. Karen was preceded in death by her father and by her husband Robert, whom she married Dec. 28, 1974 died August 20, 2014. She is survived by her son, Jason (Stephanie); grandson, Sterling; mother, Eda Constantino; sister, Sharon (John) Cycyk; brother, Darren (Kay) Constantino; nieces, nephews, and large, extended family. Karen's grandson Sterling kept her going in the last year of her life. Her warm, generous spirit will be greatly missed by her family, close friends and neighbors. Per Karen's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services and her family will hold a memorial celebration at a later date.
