Youngstown - There will be a funeral service held on Friday, March 6, 2015 at 11:30 am at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, for Karletta F. Fammartino-Torba, 86, of Youngstown, who peacefully passed away on Sunday morning March 1, 2015 with her loving family by her side. Karletta will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends for her smile, her generosity and her wonderful and outgoing personality. She was born June 1, 1928 in Youngstown, the daughter of Carl and Ethel (Knight) Port and was a lifelong area resident. Karletta's great joy was being a homemaker for her family and she also worked for 25 years as an LPN for Dr. Brucoli. She was a 1947 graduate of South High School and then continued her education and graduated in 1965 from Choffin Career Center with her LPN Degree. Karletta enjoyed cooking, playing BINGO and cards, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a former member of the Greeters Club and the PTA, where she was past president. She leaves behind to hold on to her precious memories her three children Danna (Bob) Santor of Youngstown, Mary Ann (Tony) Baggetta of New Bedford, Pennsylvania, and Karen (Dave) Patek of Indiana, 7 grandchildren Danielle (Brady) Schrickel, Andrea (Mike) Massie, Dominic (Tina) Baggetta, Dan (Michelle) Baggetta, Tony (Janice) Baggetta, David Patek and Toni Marie (Drew) Neal, sixteen great grandchildren Grace, Danny, Jessica, Anthony, Megan, Dominic, Ashley, Antony, Marco, Giovanni, Nicco, Rocco, Emery, Anderson, Lena and Luke two brothers Charles (Patricia) Port of Arizona and Carl (Judy) Port of Texas, and many extended family. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Daniel A. Fammartino whom she married August 2, 1947 died April 7, 1997, her second husband Louis Torba whom she married October 22, 2005 died February 8, 2015, and a sister Lois Jean Patton. Friends may call on Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Friday March 6, 2015 from 11:00 am until 11:20 am at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home 4700 Market St., Boardman.
