Poland - There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church, Poland with the Rev. Msgr. William Connell officiating, preceded by a 9:10 a.m. prayer service held at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, for Kathleen A. Petro Leek, 51, of Poland, who passed away early Tuesday morning, June 19, 2012 with her loving family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Kathleen will always be remembered and loved by all her family and friends for all the love and special memoires that were shared. She was born April 13, 1961 in New Castle, Pennsylvania, the daughter of George and Helen (Gorski) Petro. Kathleen was employed as a Dental Hygienist for many years with Dr. Michael Leone. Kathleen was a graduate of Villa Marie and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Applied Sciences from Youngstown State University. Kathleen was a member of Holy Family Church and a previous member of St. Elizabeth Church, Campbell along with various Dental Associations. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her husband and children, but she loved attended all her children's functions. She leaves her husband, John Leek; her two children, Maddie and Evan, both at home; two brothers, Thomas (Marilyn) Petro of Lincoln, Nebraska and their children, Karen, Mark and Nate; and her brother, Bernard (Janet) Petro of Campbell, and their son Clayton of Cleveland. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends may call on Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman. Burial will take place at Poland Riverside Cemetery, Poland. In lieu of flowers material contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley 5190 Market St., Boardman, Ohio 44512.
