Youngstown - There will be a funeral service held on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman with Father Edward Noga officiating for Kory J. Rodriguez, 51, of Youngstown, who passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 15, 2013 with his loving family by his side. Kory will always be remembered and loved by his family and friends for his big smile that he always had along with his easy going personality. He always put his family first and enjoyed spending time with them especially his grandchildren. He was born February 3, 1961 in Youngstown, the son of Luis and Gloria (Sierra) Rodriguez and was a lifelong area resident. Kory was employed as a truck driver for over 10 years with various companies. He was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and a member of St. Elizabeth Church until its closing. Kory was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and earned the rank of private. He was awarded the Good Conduct Badge and the Rifle Marksmanship Badge. Kory had a passion for football and he always would root on his favorite team the Cleveland Browns. He leaves behind to hold on to his memories his wife of over 26 years the former Patricia Farris whom he married December 5, 1986, his children Anna Lawson, Jena, Kory Jr., James, and Gino Rodriguez, Kasina, Kory, and Mariah Flowers and Brittanee Beck all of Youngstown, 18 grandchildren, a special friend Becky Harris, four brothers Angel Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez, Marco Ramirez and Kevin Rodriguez, and four sisters Ana Cruz, Elena Ramirez-Robles, Linda Ramirez-Arzuaga and Kimberly Rodriguez-Verhest. He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter Analia Rodriguez. Friends may call on Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
