Obituary

Youngstown - There will be a funeral service held on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Williams officiating for Lily M. "Lil" Circella, 83, of Youngstown, who passed away early Tuesday morning, October 15, 2013 with her loving family by her side. Lil will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends for her smile and outgoing personality. She was born October 22, 1929 in Youngstown, the daughter of Michael and Catherine (Ryznar) Horina and was a lifelong area resident. Lil was a proud homemaker and was employed as a legal secretary for Atty. Milstone. She was a former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Youngstown. Lil enjoyed knitting, crocheting, doing needle point, playing BINGO and cards especially poker, but she mostly loved watching and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid bowler and one of her many accomplishments was bowling a 298 game. Lil bowled at K Lanes in the K Trio League along with bowling in many local and state tournaments. Her husband William "Bill" Circella whom she married July 21, 1951 died August 8, 2007. She leaves behind to hold on to her precious memories a son Leonard (Diane) Circella of Mineral Ridge, three grandchildren T.J. (Megan) Larman of Brookfield, Kristina (Nick) Ciavarella, and Nicolina Circella both of Mineral Ridge, four great grandchildren Olivia, Anna, Leah and Joseph, a brother James "Jimmy" Horina, two sisters Rose Roshitsh of McDonald and Eleanor Stout of West Virginia along with many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Lil was preceded in death by a brother Fred Horina. Friends may call on Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman and on Friday, October 18, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
